Arrowwood viburnum is an ornamental shrub native to Minnesota. It produces clusters of white flowers which turn into deep blue fruit that ripens in September. The fruit attracts many birds due to its unusually late fruiting season. Their stems are known for being straight “as an arrow” which is why their common name is Arrowwood. It has sleek, shiny leaves that are a deep green in the summer and turn burgundy in the fall. Full sun to part shade.
