Urban Water Conservation Program

The City of Lakeville operates the Urban Water Conservation Program through a partnership with the Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Organization (VRWJPO). This program, which began in 2018, offers local Homeowners - or Townhome - Associations cost-share to improve irrigation system watering efficiency after participating in an irrigation audit. Since the program’s inception, the City and VRWJPO have funded irrigation audits at 16 City of Lakeville Associations. Associations only financial commitment towards the irrigation audit is a $50 fee.

The application period for the 2021 program is closed. The application for the 2022 program will be available on this website in March of 2022.

If you have questions about the program, or other water conservation questions relating to irrigation, contact Kelly Perrine, Environmental Resources Technician, at kperrine@lakevillemn.gov or 952-985-4524.
