All donations made by the City are approved by our City Council in early January each year. As a public entity, we are unable to donate money or products to individuals or private organizations (e.g., Scouts, sport teams, schools, etc.).Per the Minnesota State Statute, public funds must be used to serve a public purpose. Although we are limited in how we can allocate public funds, we truly appreciate the many worthy individuals and organizations in our community.
